Fostering Hope began with a simple belief: foster families were never meant to do this alone.
For nearly two decades in Colorado Springs, we have come alongside foster families with consistent, relational support—surrounding them with volunteers who show up, stay, and care. What started as a local effort has grown into a proven model that strengthens families, reduces burnout, and helps create the stability children need to heal.
Today, Fostering Hope USA exists to bring this model to communities across the country.
We partner with local leaders, organizations, and faith communities to build teams of volunteers who serve foster families like extended family—offering practical help, encouragement, and steady presence over time.
This work is grounded in both experience and research: children heal through relationships, and foster families are more likely to continue when they are supported.
Our role is not to replace the child welfare system, but to come alongside it—filling a critical gap with something systems alone cannot provide: consistent, caring relationships.
As we grow, our commitment remains the same—to support families with dignity, to strengthen communities, and to ensure that more children experience the stability and connection they need to thrive.
