Professor Emerita of Innovation Management, Babson College | Board Chair
Gina is recognized for her work in innovation, with a distinguished academic career focused on breakthrough innovation in large organizations. She has co-authored three books and published more than 75 academic works on the subject.
While retired from Babson College, Gina continues to serve as Faculty Director for the Corporate Innovation Practice in Executive Education, where she teaches, researches, and advises leaders on strategic innovation. Before Babson, she was on the faculty at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she led the Entrepreneurship Center, helping launch a number of student and faculty-led start-ups, and served as Associate Dean. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Product Development and Management Association, a nonprofit organization devoted to innovation.
Gina brings deep expertise in scaling ideas and guiding organizations through growth and change—insight that is especially valuable as Fostering Hope expands nationally.
She lives in Albany, New York, with her husband, Patrick. Their three grown children and their families are spread across the country, each doing their best to make the world a better place.
